“Looking for a church home in Savannah?”
You do not have to dress up, have all the answers, or fit a certain mold to belong. We are artists, seekers, doubters, families, friends, and neighbors growing in faith and learning to love God and one another with open hearts.
“Sunday worship in Savannah.”
Worship begins at 11:00 AM at 1008 E. Henry Street in Savannah. Come in person or join us online. Either way, you are part of the Asbury Memorial community.

“Not your typical Sunday morning.”
Since 1909, Asbury Memorial has brought faith and creativity together in the heart of Savannah. We are a progressive Christian community where meaningful preaching, original music, theatrical surprises, laughter, beauty, and honest questions are all grounded in love and justice.

Creative & Arts-Filled Worship
Music, theatre, storytelling, and visual art help us experience sacred truth in fresh and memorable ways.

Fully LGBTQ+ Affirming
Your identity is not something to hide here. LGBTQ+ people are celebrated in the full life and leadership of our church.

Rooted in grace
Our Wesleyan tradition reminds us that grace is for everyone and faith comes alive through love, compassion, and action.

Love that seeks justice
We follow Jesus by standing with people pushed to the margins and working for dignity, equity, peace, and belonging.

A Community for Every Ages
Children, youth, adults, and older adults learn, create, serve, and celebrate together. There is room for every generation.

“What to expect on Sunday.”
Wear whatever feels like you. Our 75-minute service blends music, Scripture, spoken word, prayer, silence, and a little joyful surprise. Children are welcome in worship, with nursery care and children’s experiences also available. Come curious. We’ll help with the rest.

“Find your place in the community.”
Church is more than one hour on Sunday. Discover places to make friends, ask honest questions, create something beautiful, care for others, and help love take shape in Savannah.

Children & Youth
A joyful, affirming place where young people can wonder, belong, build friendships, and grow in faith.

Choir & Music Ministry
Sing, play, listen, and help create the music that gives Asbury Memorial worship its unmistakable spirit.

Arts Ministry
Bring your imagination. From theatre to visual art, creativity helps us tell sacred stories in surprising ways.

Small Groups
Find friendship, thoughtful conversation, spiritual growth, and plenty of laughter in a group that feels like you.

Community Outreach
Share love beyond our walls through hands-on service, local partnerships, advocacy, and care for our neighbors.

Stephen Ministry
When life feels heavy, a trained Stephen Minister can offer confidential, one-to-one care and a steady listening presence.
Our Hope
“What’s happening at Asbury.”
From music and meaningful conversation to service, fellowship, and delightfully unexpected fun, there are many ways to connect. Take a look at what’s coming up and bring someone along.

“Worship from wherever you are.”
Join our Savannah church community live online Sundays at 11:00 AM, or watch whenever the time is right for you. Wherever you are watching from, you are part of this creative, loving, beautifully diverse community.
“Faith that shows up in Savannah.”
We partner with local organizations, feed our neighbors, advocate for the marginalized, and show up when it matters most. Social justice isn’t a program here — it’s a practice.

“In their own words.”
The best way to understand Asbury Memorial is to hear from the people who have found friendship, freedom, purpose, and a spiritual home here.

“A wonderful experience felt so welcome. My young grandson went with me and was equally impressed.” — Rebecca Coulter
“Because of you, love keeps growing.“
Your generosity makes creative worship possible, cares for people in difficult seasons, supports children and youth, and helps Asbury Memorial show up for our neighbors. Every gift, of any size, is part of this shared ministry.
