Yes, there’s a clown. And there’s a beautiful reason.
The clown has been part of Asbury’s story since 1993. It represents joyful faith, creativity, and the people whose love and perseverance helped keep this church alive.
Church can feel different.
At Asbury, you do not have to check part of yourself at the door. We are a progressive Christian community rooted in Wesleyan theology, where grace is lived through love, compassion, justice, service, and care for our neighbors. LGBTQ+ people are affirmed, questions are welcomed, and creativity is part of worship.
You do not need to know the words, have the answers, or fit a particular mold. Come as you are and discover a community learning how to love God and one another more fully.

You can sing, serve, ask questions, make art, share a meal, or simply get to know a few people. You do not have to arrive with everything figured out. At Asbury, belonging can begin with simply showing up.

Nursery care is available for newborns through age 5, and Godly Play welcomes age 5 through 5th grade. After worship, everyone is invited to Coffee Hour in the Social Hall.
