The NEW Carbon Fiber Ligature from Vandoren is made with pre-impregnated woven carbon fabrics, and its tightening is ensured by a stainless steel screw threaded in 2 titanium pillars.

Thanks to its weight, the carbon ligature does not interfere at all with the vibration of the reed and fulfils only one role: KEEPING THE REED ON THE MOUTHPIECE

The very high rigidity of the carbon ligature allows an optimal transmission of acoustic energy by limiting the losses related to parasitic vibrations.
