Extended Service Plan

All musical instruments will need general maintenance in order to perform at their highest level. Our Extended Service Plan allows you to purchase your new wind instrument with the confidence that we will provide the highest level of repair service to keep your investment at peak performance. Each new instrument is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty which covers manufacturing defects, but our plan extends this coverage to all facets of your instrument.

We offer two levels of the ESP, GOLD and PLATINUM. Our GOLD ESP covers student and intermediate level instruments while the PLATINUM ESP covers professional level instruments.

Woodwinds:

  • Adjustment of any key mechanism to insure proper performance
  • Replacement/Reseating of pads as necessary (no limit)
  • Replacement of any broken spring (no limit)
  • Replacement of any missing/broken tenon or key cork (no limit)
  • Dents removed to insure proper performance
  • Cracks in wood bodies repaired
  • Case handles, latches and hinges replaced as necessary

Brass:

  • One professional Sonic Cleaning per year
  • Replacement of any necessary felts, corks, rotor strings or springs
  • Pull stuck slides/mouthpieces
  • Solder braces as necessary
  • Dents removed to insure proper performance
  • Case handles, latches and hinges replaced as necessary

Exclusions:

  • Loss due to theft, fire, water and other acts of God
  • Damage caused by abuse, intentional or otherwise
  • Repair of finish (beyond manufacturer’s warranty)
  • Body parts that are lost or damaged beyond repair (including but not limited to mouthpieces, barrels, head joints, body joints, end plugs, end caps, etc.)
  • All accessories originally sold with instrument
  • Case replacement, coverings and zippers
  • All work must be performed by Pro Winds, any unauthorized work will not be reimbursed and may cause plan to be terminated
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping/insurance fees to get the instrument to Pro Winds. Pro Winds will cover all charges associated with returning the instrument back to the customer.
