Secured an exemption from HB 1043 tat would have made it very expensive and challenging for foreclose on delinquent interests by adding time consuming procedural steps.
FLORIDA
Successfully advocated against HB 897. The bill would have reversed key protections for timeshare associations and increased costs for owners.
HAWAII
Opposed multiple efforts to impose new fees on visitors. Only one bill passed, raising the transient accommodations tax to .75%. We continue to fight property tax increases.
MASSACHUSETTS
Passed Senate Bill 3013, providing tools for owners’ asscociations to repurpose aging resorts.
SOUTH CCAROLINA
Defeated a bill that would have assessed sales rac on the purchase of exchange of timeshare intersests.
