Skin cells regenerate, but when the old skin isn\u2019t properly removed, it can leave your skin looking dull and even cause breakouts. Make sure you exfoliate from head to toe to give your skin a fresh glow. Plus, if you\u2019re going to be using sunless tanner to get some color without the damage, exfoliated skin helps avoid a patchy finish.<\/p>\n

Of course, once you\u2019ve exfoliated, you need to moisturize. First off, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Just as important is to use moisturizes for the face and body that both contain SPF, and don\u2019t forget your hands! When it comes to summer skin care, though, sunscreen is the most important component. Not only do you want to avoid painful sunburns, but you also want to protect yourself from future damage. If you\u2019re not going to be wearing a hat, you should look into some of the sunscreen that can be sprayed along your hairline and scalp. You\u2019d be surprised just how easy it is to get a sunburn along the parting in your hair. Also make sure you have lip balm with SPF to protect the delicate skin on your lips.<\/p>\n

Before heading outdoors each day, put your sunscreen on your entire body, even the parts covered by swimsuits and clothing. Clothing can\u2019t protect you completely, especially thin swimsuits, so this adds a bit more protection. Of course, you\u2019ll need to reapply your sunscreen throughout the day, especially if you\u2019re swimming or sweating. If you know you\u2019ll need to reapply frequently, look for a sunscreen that isn\u2019t too thick and sticky so that you\u2019ll be more likely to use it throughout the day.<\/p>\n
