This unique restaurant is located inside the DeLeon Springs State Park, which is about an hour\u2019s drive north of Orlando. The park itself offers a delightful range of outdoor activities, include canoeing and kayaking, swimming in the spring-fed pool, and hiking the nature trail. And you\u2019ll welcome the chance to burn some calories after your yummy breakfast in the Sugar Mill before heading back to your resort in Kissimmee.<\/p>\n
This is a dining experience unlike any other you\u2019re likely to have on any vacation. Each table is equipped with a griddle. When you order pancakes, you\u2019ll receive pitchers of your choice of pancake batters that you cook right there at your table. Enjoy them plain or add blueberries, bananas, pecans, chocolate chips, apples, or peanut butter. The menu includes an assortment of additional items, including eggs (brought to you fresh in the shell \u2013 you crack and cook them on the griddle), breakfast meats, breads and more. Salads and sandwiches are also available.<\/p>\n
The restaurant is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas; weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry fee to the park is $6 per car and allows you to enjoy all the facilities of the park. Restaurant reservations are limited to parties of 10 or more, so arrive early and be patient.<\/p>\n
